Led by Prof. Siniša Malešević this research project investigates the emergence (and contents) of Holocaust Museums in a comparative perspective. The sample includes 19 museums in seven countries within and outside the EU. The research specifically focuses on whether and how collaboration with the Nazis is represented in these countries’ Holocaust Museums and exhibits. In addition, the study will also investigate Germany’s memory culture and the way it has (or hasn’t) dealt with the subject of collaboration.
